It is impossible to engage with Z without recognizing the important role her mother (Simyra) has played in her growth and her advocacy. From early education and advocating for her daughter’s rights, to homeschooling, to moving out of the city, and playing personal chauffeur for all of Z’s many activities, Simyra has done everything possible to support her daughter’s dreams. As a single mom and entrepreneur, it has certainly not been easy–but watching her daughter grow beyond anyone’s initial expectations, makes every step worth it.
Together, they explore new places, try new things, meet (many) new people, and do it all with passion. These two powerful women are partners day and night. Together, they inspire countless other families and remind us that when it comes to our own learning and growth–we should never take “no” for an answer.
